India’s run machine Virat Kohli has talked about his retirement for the first time. He said that he does not want to end his cricket career thinking that something is incomplete. Once my work is done I will leave. Along with this, Kohli said that when he says goodbye to cricket, he will not be seen by anyone for some time.
In the podcast, Kohli said, “as a sportsman, we do have an end date to our career. I’m just working backwards, I can’t keep playing forever. I’m sure I won’t have any regrets left. I’ll give my all till I’m playing, but once I’m done, I’ll be gone, you won’t see me for a while…”
He further said, “I don’t want to finish my career with any undone business & regrets later which I’m sure, I won’t – Once I’m done in cricket, I will be gone, you won’t see me for a while. So I want to give it everything I have till the time I play & that keeps me going“.
