Once my work is done I will leave. Along with this, Kohli said that when he says goodbye to cricket, he will not be seen by anyone for some time.

In the podcast, Kohli said, “as a sportsman, we do have an end date to our career. I’m just working backwards, I can’t keep playing forever. I’m sure I won’t have any regrets left. I’ll give my all till I’m playing, but once I’m done, I’ll be gone, you won’t see me for a while…”

He further said, “I don’t want to finish my career with any undone business & regrets later which I’m sure, I won’t – Once I’m done in cricket, I will be gone, you won’t see me for a while. So I want to give it everything I have till the time I play & that keeps me going“.
