IND vs BAN: The long wait of about 40 days for Indian fans is now about to end because, from September 19, Team India is going to be seen in action once again. The two-Test match series between India and Bangladesh will start with the first match to be played in Chennai. BCCI has announced the squad for this match. Now it remains to be seen which 11 of these 16 players get a place in the first Test. The team is returning after a long break, so the captain will not have any tension or workload. On the other hand, the Bangladesh team has reached here after sweeping Pakistan, so Rohit Sharma will not want to take them lightly and will field his strong playing XI.
Rohit Sharma will have to brainstorm for two positions.
Team India’s batting order for the first Test against Bangladesh is completely set. Yashasvi Jaiswal will open the innings with Rohit Sharma, while Shubman Gill will come at number three. The burden of the middle order will be on the shoulders of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.
Rohit Sharma may have to think hard to choose a wicketkeeper and a spinner. Dhruv Jurel had performed brilliantly in the Test series against England, but now after the car accident, regular wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has returned to the team. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whom Rohit chooses between these two.
Apart from this, Rohit Sharma may also face difficulty in choosing a spinner between Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav. R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are sure to play, it will be interesting to see whom Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir give a chance as the third spinner.
On the other hand, if we talk about two fast bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj can be seen in action. In such a situation, Yash Dayal and Akash Deep will have to sit on the bench.
India’s Probable Playing XI for the first Test against Bangladesh-
Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant/Dhruv Jurel, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, Axar Patel/Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj
