After Hardik Pandya’s half-century, India defeated Bangladesh by 50 runs in the Super Eight stage match due to the strong performance of the bowlers led by wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Batting first, India scored 196 runs for five wickets. In reply, Bangladesh team could score only 146 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. India’s winning campaign continued like this and the team won its fifth consecutive match in the tournament. The Indian team strengthened its claim to the semi-finals by winning two consecutive matches in the Super Eight stage.

The Indian team has come on top of Group One with four points after winning two consecutive matches and has almost qualified for the semi-finals.
