IND vs ENG 2nd Semi-final: India once again snatched victory!

India and England faced each other in the second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose fielding. After this, India, playing first, scored 171 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs and England got the target of 172 runs to win. The England team completely collapsed in front of the Indian bowlers and were out for 103 runs in 16.4 overs. India won this match by 68 runs and Team India made it to the final.

With this victory, India also took revenge from England for the year 2022. England had defeated India by 10 wickets in the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-finals, but now in the year 2024, India defeated this team by 68 runs and reached the final. India will now face South Africa in the final on June 29. The Indian team reached the final of the T20 World Cup for the third time. Earlier, Team India had won the title in the year 2007 whereas in the year 2014 it had lost to Sri Lanka.

In the first innings of this match, Indian opener batsman Virat Kohli was out after scoring 9 runs, while Rishabh Pant returned to the pavilion after playing an inning of 4 runs. Rohit Sharma completed his half-century in this match with the help of 2 sixes and 6 fours in 36 balls. Rohit played an innings of 57 runs in 39 balls in this match and was out. Suryakumar Yadav played an inning of 47 runs and was out. Hardik Pandya lost his wicket after playing an inning of 23 runs.There was a change in the batting order of Shivam Dubey and he was sent at number 7 and he was out on a duck. Axar Patel played an innings of 10 runs in this match and was out. Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten after scoring 17 runs. For England, Chris Jordan took 3 wickets while Topley, Archer, Sam Curran and Adil Rashid took one wicket each.
