IND vs NEP: India Won The Match Against Nepal By 23 Runs In the Asian Games

In the Asian Games 2023, the quarter-final match was played today between India vs Nepal (IND vs NEP). In this match, India performed well and won against Nepal by 23 runs. In the match, India won the toss and decided to bat first. During this, batting first, the Indian team scored 202 runs at the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Nepal team, which came to chase this target, could score only 179 runs and lost the match. A partnership of 100 runs was formed between the two in 9 overs, both of them could be seen taking advantage of the small field. Captain Rituraj returned to the pavilion with the last ball of the tenth over with a great start. The captain got out after making 25 runs from 23 balls, Tilak Verma came to bat after the first wicket of 103 runs. Tilak was under constant pressure. Tilak returned to the pavilion after making only 2 runs off 10 balls. Jitesh Sharma, who made his debut in today’s match, returned to the pavilion with 5 runs off 4 balls.

Jasswi Jaiswal scored a century in today’s match. This young man completed his hundred with 47 balls. However, Tarun Jaiswal returned to the pavilion after making a century, but Shivam Dube played an innings of 25 runs with 2 fours and 1 six off 19 balls and Rinku Singh played an innings of 37 runs with 2 fours and 4 sixes off 15 balls. Earlier in the IPL, Jaiswal and Rinku Singh showed great performances and took the team to 203 runs.

In response, the Indian bowlers got off to a good start. Asif Sheikh returned to the pavilion in the second over, Kushal Bhurtel scored 28 off 32 balls. Ravi Vishnu’s 11th overturned the game, with Nepal on the back foot with 2 wickets in an over. Kushal Malla was dismissed for 29 runs from 22 balls, Captain Rohit returned to the pavilion after making 3 from 5 balls. Besides, Vishnu sent Dipendra Singh back to the pavilion after scoring 32 runs off 15 balls.

He took 3 wickets with just 24 runs in 4 overs, accompanied by Sai Kishore. He collected 1 wicket with 25 runs in 4 overs. Besides, Avesh Khan and Arshdeep Singh took 3 wickets for the team and stopped the Nepal team within 179 runs with 2 wickets.
