Liton Das (42) missed the fifty. Mahmudullah scored 8 and captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto scored 14 runs. Tanjid Hasan scored 15 and Mehdi Hasan Miraz scored three runs. Rishad Hussain and Parvez Hussain Emon did not open their account. For India, leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi took three wickets, and fast bowler Mayank Yadav took two wickets. Washington Sundar and Nitish Reddy got one wicket each.

Captain Surya scored 75 runs in 35 balls with the help of 8 fours and 5 sixes. Hardik Pandya (47 off 18 balls, four fours, four sixes) and Riyan Parag (34 off 13 balls, one four, four sixes) also performed brilliantly. Both of them added 70 runs in 26 balls for the fourth wicket. Nitish Kumar Reddy did not open his account. Rinku Singh remained unbeaten on 8 runs and Washington Sundar remained unbeaten on 1 run.
