India has announced their team for the T20 World Cup 2024. After the meeting between BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and the Selection Committee in Ahmedabad, 15 members of the Indian team were announced. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, players like Yashasvi Jaiswal will get a chance to play in the T20 World Cup for the first time. At the same time, players like Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Shivam Dubey returned to Team India. Unfortunately, Rinku Sing And Riyan Parag were Not included in the T20 World Cup Squad After their Very Good Performance In IPl 2024.
Yashasvi Jaiswal can come down to open with captain Rohit Sharma in the T20 World Cup 2024. Both these players have won many matches at this position and Team India will not want to tamper with this combination in the World Cup as well.
Virat Kohli can come at number 3 and Suryakumar Yadav will be seen batting at number four. However, changes are also possible depending on the situation of the match. Rishabh Pant can play at number 5 and he will be the first choice as wicketkeeper.
Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja are sure to be in the playing XI as openers. At the same time, Axar Patel can also play as an all-rounder. Axar’s entry will also increase the batting strength of the team. Among the bowlers, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, and Arshdeep Singh or Siraj can be seen in the playing XI.
