Captains Statement After Toss
Hashmatullah Shahidi: We will bat first. Looks like a good batting wicket. Our bowling attack is capable of keeping them (India) in check. Here we want to make a comeback with the bat. we are enjoying Today we have a good opportunity to showcase our talents. We are entering the field today with the same XI.
Rohit Sharma: We wanted to bat in the Second innings. I saw how much dew there was last night. I don’t think there will be a big change at twenty-two yards. They played flawlessly, we are proud of our performance. It was a good match for us. I hope I can keep the rhythm, the previous day will be repeated today. (Ravichandran) Ashwin is not playing today, Shardul Thakur is taking the field instead.
