After the brilliant performance of the bowlers, with the help of captain Rohit Sharma’s explosive innings of 86 runs, the Indian team has maintained its record of never losing against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup. In the match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Team India achieved the target of 192 runs for Pakistan in just 30.3 overs and won the match by seven wickets.
Apart from Rohit, Shreyas Iyer played an unbeaten inning of 53 runs on 62 balls for India. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took two wickets and Hasan Ali got one success. Apart from these two, other Pakistani bowlers remained empty-handed.
Earlier, due to the brilliant performance of the Indian bowlers and the amazing captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Pakistan cricket team was all out for 191 runs in 42.5 overs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. For India, all the leading bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja took 2-2 wickets.
On the other hand, for Pakistan, captain Babar Azam scored the highest 50 runs, apart from him Mohammad Rizwan played an inning of 49 runs in 69 balls. Whereas six Pakistani cricketers could not even touch double figures and the entire team collapsed for 191 runs without playing 50 overs. India has a target of 192 runs to win this match.
