After this incident, Rishabh Pant did not become a part of IPL 2023. David Warner took command of the team in his place. Rishabh Pant has now been declared fit as a wicketkeeper-batsman for the upcoming IPL 2024 after undergoing a 14-month rehabilitation process following a road accident near Roorkee, Uttarakhand on December 30, 2022, the board said in a medical update.
