Before the Match team KKR’s coach Goutam Gambhir was caught talking about MS Dhoni and his tactics on the field. This uncut interaction happened with Star Sports. Gambhir said about Dhoni ,” He is probably the most successful captain India will ever have. I don’t think anyone can reach that level. Winning 3 ICC trophies is better than anything else”. Gambhir also said that, ” He was very good tactically. Knew how to control the spinners, set the field against the spinners, probably would never give up as well and he could finish off a game.”
Gambhir is not taking the field physically so he is working on how to use his expertise to beat not just Chennai Super kings but Dhoni. Praising Mahi’s tactical skill in the field, keeping in mind the challenges KKR can face in the match Gambhir is on to beat their rival on their home ground. As Gambhir said,“So I have to be tactically better than him, better in anything to beat him because he would not go aggressive on the field but he will not give up.”
