Currently, nothing good is happening for the Mumbai Indians team in IPL 2024. The team had to face defeat in the first three matches under the captaincy of new captain Hardik Pandya. After that, now some relief news has come out for the team. The team’s biggest batsman and world number 1 T20 batsman Suryakumar Yadav is now fit. Not only this, now the date of Surya’s return has also been revealed. According to the report of Cricbuzz, he has received fitness clearance from NCA.
Cricbuzz also informed in its report that Surya will join the team by Friday i.e. 4th April. Presently Suryakumar Yadav was in the National Cricket Academy (NCA) located in Bengaluru. But now he is ready to make a comeback and probably he will be seen in blue jersey in the third match for Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai team will play its fourth match against Delhi Capitals on 7 April. What could be better news than the fact that Suryakumar Yadav can make a comeback on home ground. However, nothing has been said from the franchise on this yet. Surya will practice in the nets after joining the team on Friday and if the franchise finds him completely fit, he can take the field on Sunday.
