IPL 2025: 574 Players Shortlisted for Auction, Big Names Like Jofra Archer and Cameron Green Miss Out

1574 players had drafted their names for the auction to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 24 and 25 November. But, all the 10 franchises together have shortlisted the names of only 574 players. Out of this, only 204 players will be sold at the most, as only this many slots are vacant. So let’s know.

574 players shortlisted for IPL 2025

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah on Friday gave important information related to the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction. According to official data, out of the 574 players shortlisted in the IPL 2025 mega auction, 366 are Indians and 208 are foreigners. The auction will include 318 Indian uncapped players and 12 uncapped foreign players. However, only 204 players can be sold, as only this many slots are vacant. In this, 70 available slots are vacant for foreign players.

Many big names were left out

Before the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction, all 10 franchises shortlisted the names on which they were interested in bidding during the auction. Big names like fast bowler Jofra Archer, experienced spinner Amit Mishra, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Cameron Green have been left out.

The auction will be held on 24-25 November
