IPL 2025 GT Retention List: The mega auction is going to happen in IPL 2025. Meaning, once again big changes will be seen in all the teams. Well, whenever the mega auction comes, big questions arise before those teams that are already strong. Whereas Mega Auction Week brings a great opportunity for the teams to become stronger. In such a situation, this time the Gujarat Titans team captained by Shubman Gill would also like to strengthen itself by buying big players from the auction.
Here are 4 Players Who should be Retain Before the IPL 2025 Mega Auction
1. Subhman Gill
After the departure of Hardik Pandya, Gujarat Titans handed over the captaincy of the team to Shubman Gill. However, GT’s performance under Gill’s captaincy last season was quite disappointing. His team stood 8th in the points table. But, the Gujarat team will certainly retain Gill as captain. Whereas, if we talk about runs with the bat, Gill has played 103 IPL matches so far, in which he has scored 3216 runs at a strike rate of 135.70. This includes 4 centuries and 20 half-centuries.
2. Rashid Khan
Afghanistan’s star spin bowler Rashid Khan is part of the core team of Gujarat Titans. When the team came in 2022, they included this player with them and he is performing continuously. Rashid scored 102 runs at an average of 20.40 and also took 10 wickets with the ball. Rashid not only traps the batsmen with his spin but also scores a lot of runs with his entertaining shots while coming down the order.
3. Sai Sudharsan
Sai Sudharsanhas performed tremendously since he made his IPL debut for Gujarat Titans. In the IPL 2024, he ended up being one of the top scorers in the tournament. The left-hander scored a total of 527 runs in just 12 innings at an average of 47.90 and a strike rate of 141.28. He also scored one century and two half-centuries. His consistency is one main reason that GT might look to retain him.
4. David Miller
South Africa’s explosive batsman David Miller is also included in Gujarat’s core team. Miller scored 210 runs in nine innings at an average and strike rate of 35 and 151.07. The franchise would not like to make the mistake of releasing this explosive batsman, otherwise, it will be very difficult for them to integrate him back.
