IPL 2025: Shubman Gill And Rashid Khan Confirm For Gujarat Titans (GT) Retention

The last date to retain players for IPL 2025 is October 31, and there are less than 24 hours left. All 10 franchises must submit their list of retained players to BCCI by 5 p.m. on Thursday. After this, the board will make this list public.

Hardik Pandya, who made GT champion in the very first season, had decided to leave the team. He returned to Mumbai Indians and got the captaincy there. After this Gujarat made Shubman Gill the captain in IPL 2024. The team was ranked eighth in the team points table. Now Gill has taken a big step to rebuild the team.

Gill and the team management are now keen to retain the core players. The first retention for the franchise could be star spinner Rashid Khan. After them, there will be Gill, Sai Sudarshan, and two uncapped players Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan.
