IPL Opening Ceremony 2024: The sixteenth season of the Indian Premier League is underway on Friday (March 22). The curtain will rise on this popular event of franchise cricket with a grand ceremony at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad. According to Indian media reports, several popular Bollywood stars will grace the stage at the grand opening ceremony.

During the Corona pandemic, IPL has been held in a few venues. Even after the pandemic has passed, the game has not been played on a home-and-away basis. However, after three long years, this time, the home and away venues will be played again. As a result, each team will play twice against the same team, once at their home ground and once at the opponent’s field.

Which Bollywood stars will grace the IPL ceremony?

The IPL authorities are not limited to returning only home and away matches, some new rules have been introduced. Last season’s champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings will face each other in the opening match of the renewed IPL. But before that, a grand event has been organized. However, apart from Tamannaah Bhatia and Arijit Singh, the participation of others is still at the stage of rumors. The names of Tamannaah and Arijit have been announced by the IPL authorities. The opening ceremony will start at 6 pm local time. The official Twitter account of IPL tweeted that actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who has appeared in numerous South movies including Baahubali, will perform at the event.

There is speculation that Rashmika Mandana, another famous South actress will also perform for the first time in this event. Apart from this ‘Pushpa’ famous actress, popular Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif can perform. There are talks that the sensational Nora Fatehi will also grace the stage with her performance in the opening ceremony. And Arijit Singh will be there with his magical voice to amuse the audience.
