After India won the T20 World Cup title after 17 years, money is raining on them. For this performance of India, BCCI announced a prize money of Rs 125 crore.
After which Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde announced a cash prize of 11 crores for the entire Indian team. Along with India’s team captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal were called to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

Where all four players were honored and apart from them, bowling coach and support members Paras Mhambrey and Arun Kanade were also called.
In the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, India’s captain Rohit Sharma said that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde told me that such an event has never been organized in the Vidhan Bhavan premises.
