Major change in Indian Cricket team Jersey for ICC WORLD CUP 2023

We are very close to the start of the ICC World Cup 2023, with just two weeks to go. A little color has been added to this excitement, there has been a change in the Indian team’s journey. on Wednesday, ICC launched the anthem of this edition’s World Cup to be held in India. the anthem, ‘Dil Jashn Bole‘, got mixed reactions on social media, Just as the song created a huge wave on social media, adidas, India’s kit partner, launched another new 2-minute 21-second anthem which is called “Impossible Nahi Ye Sapna, 3 Ka Dream Hai Apna”. In that video, it is seen that the three white stripes on the shoulders of the Indian jersey have been replaced with tricolor. The concept of the ‘3 Ka Dream’ is Uplifting the dreams of thousands of Indian cricket lovers.

The Adidas anthem features India captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav. 

A total of twenty teams have competed in the twelve editions of the ICC WORLD CUP, with ten teams competing in the recent 2019 tournament. Australia has won the tournament five times, India and West Indies twice each, But sadly Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and England have won it once each.  The Indian cricket team are two times World Champions. In addition to winning the 1983 Cricket World Cup, they triumphed over Sri Lanka in the 2011 Cricket World Cup on home soil. They were also runners-up at the 2003 Cricket World Cup, and semifinalists four times(1987, 1996, 2015, 2019). Under the leadership of MS DHONI, the Indian cricket team won the 2011 Cricket World Cup and in 1983 Against all odds, the Indian cricket team, captained by Kapil Dev won the first ICC WORLD CUP for India. In 2019, India was knocked out of the ICC World Cup after they were beaten by New Zealand by 18 runs in the first semi-final. So this year Indian cricket lovers are waiting for the trophy to come home.
