Preparations for the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction are in full swing. The IPL 2025 mega auction will be held on 24 November and 25 November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The retention list has already been revealed. Rajasthan Royals have released Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal will now be a part of the auction, and many teams, including Mumbai Indians, will keep an eye on him. Let us tell you that Chahal made his debut for MI under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy.
MI can buy Yuzvendra Chahal
Mumbai Indians currently have neither a fast bowler nor a spinner except Jasprit Bumrah. Chahal is the bowler to take 200 or more wickets in the history of IPL. He can trouble any batsman. Yuji’s spin can be useful for Mumbai Indians. Therefore, MI would like to buy him and add him to their team in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
Was he cheated by RCB?
Let us tell you that Yuzvendra Chahal played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from 2014-2021. After which RCB released him and he became a part of Rajasthan Royals. Some time ago, Chahal was asked a question regarding his release from RCB on a podcast, in response to which he said, “I felt very bad after being released from RCB. I played for this team for 8 years, this is what helped me get the Team India cap. What hurt me the most was that I was not called regarding my release. At least the management should have talked to me. Now it will be interesting to see which team Chahal plays with in IPL 2025.
