Jasprit Bumrah performed brilliantly in the recently held T20 World Cup 2024. He bowled the most economical for India. Bumrah did not tour Sri Lanka to manage the workload. He had asked for rest from T20 and ODI series.

After the T20 World Cup 2024, Bumrah became a part of the interview for the first time, in which he remembered Virat Kohli’s captaincy. During this, Jassi also described Virat as a better captain. He said,
“Virat Kohli is a different captain. His energy is different from other players. He is very passionate about the game. He gives more importance to fitness. He changed the fitness of the Indian team. He is not the captain yet but he lives like a leader on the field. ”

Jasprit Bumrah performed brilliantly for India in the T20 World Cup 2024. Throughout the tournament, Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc on the opposing team with his bowling from the Indian team. He bowled economically throughout the tournament, for which he was also awarded the Player of the Series title. He took 15 wickets in the 8 matches played. During this, he conceded runs at an average of 8.26 and an economy rate of 4.17.
Will return against Bangladesh
Bumrah is currently enjoying his personal life after taking a rest from the Indian team. Jasprit Bumrah can return for the 2 Test matches and 3 T20 series against Bangladesh. Coach Gautam Gambhir also admitted that it is important to give rest to a bowler like Bumrah to manage his workload. Bumrah is more needed for the Indian team on the big stage.
