Yuzvendra Chahal may not be a part of India’s World Cup squad, but his wife Dhanashree Verma is all set to be seen in the ICC World Cup anthem. Dhanashree, famous for her dancing skills, is quite popular on YouTube and keeps posting videos on her social media account.
Chahal’s wife has more than 5.5 million followers on Instagram. She keeps updating fans on various videos of dance and comedy with Yuzvendra Chahal. Although ICC has not officially confirmed Dhanashree’s presence in the World Cup anthem, the latest post on social media is making fans wonder if Dhanashree is a part of the World Cup anthem.
Apart from Dhanashree, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will also be seen in this song. ‘Dil Jashn Bole’ is the title of the anthem. Famous musician Pritam has composed this song. This is not the first time that Ranveer is seen in a cricket anthem. The Bollywood actor was part of the closing ceremony song of IPL 2022. However, this is the first time that Dhanashree will be seen in a cricket anthem.
In a poster uploaded by ICC on the social media platform, Ranveer is seen wearing a navy blue shirt with a maroon blazer and matching cap. Fans from different countries are also seen in the background. According to the post, the theme will be released on Wednesday (September 20) at 12 noon IST.
Apart from the anthem, Team India’s jersey sponsor Adidas will also unveil the jersey on September 20.
Hosts India will begin their campaign against five-time World Cup winners Australia on October 8 in Chennai. A total of ten teams will participate in this event. Each team plays the other nine in a round-robin format, with the top four qualifying for the knockout stage and semi-finals.
