The controversy surrounding the Champions Trophy, one of the biggest cricket tournaments in the world, is not coming to an end. On one hand, while India is adamant about not going to Pakistan, Pakistan is not ready to adopt the hybrid model.
Even after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have cleared everything, Pakistan is still adamant that if the tournament happens, it will happen in their country and the Indian team will have to come to Pakistan. Pakistan’s stubbornness has created such a ruckus that now this matter has become serious. Meanwhile, the Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Rajiv Shukla, has given a blunt statement.
What did the BCCI Vice President say?
BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla has stated on this issue on Friday. Regarding the suspense over the Champions Trophy and Team India’s tour to Pakistan, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla said – “Discussions are going on with the Pakistan Cricket Board. ICC is making its efforts. Our position is very clear that we will do whatever the government tells us.”

Let’s tell you that BCCI had recently told ICC and PCB that due to security reasons, the Indian Government has advised them not to send Team India to Pakistan, but PCB is demanding from ICC that it should take it in writing from BCCI why it does not want to send the Indian team to Pakistan.
