There are still problems regarding hosting. Actually, this Champions Trophy tournament is to be played in Pakistan, but due to the deteriorated relations between the two countries, India has refused to play on Pakistani soil. However, now every effort is being made by Pakistan to ensure that BCCI approves this matter. In this context, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given a proposal to BCCI.
In fact, according to a report by Cricbuzz, in this proposal it has been said on behalf of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that the Indian team can return to India after playing every match, and the Pakistan Cricket Board will help the Indian team in this.
What did PCB say in this letter?
According to the information, it has also been said in this proposal that if the Indian team does not want to come to Pakistan considering the security, then in such a situation it can come to Pakistan only to play the match and can return back to Delhi after every match. At the same time, it has also been said in this letter that PCB will provide full assistance in this. This proposal has been confirmed by a PCB official. Actually, the reason for this is also believed to be that a gap of one week has been kept between India’s last two matches. In such a situation, the team will have to stay in Pakistan, in view of which the BCCI has refused to go to Pakistan.
Pakistan is going to host Champions Trophy 2025
In fact, recently Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has visited Pakistan. According to reports, this issue was also raised in the meeting held during that visit. However, no information has been revealed yet as to what decision has been taken on this subject. Let us tell you that Pakistan is going to host the Champions Trophy 2025. Regarding this, the draft of venue and schedule has also been submitted to ICC on behalf of PCB. This mega tournament will be played in February-March next year i.e. 2025.
