After the World Cup 2023, BCCI has extended the contract of Indian team head coach Rahul Dravid. The board itself has also confirmed this. Meanwhile, another reaction of Rahul Dravid has come to light on Thursday. He has said that the contract has not been signed yet.
After the BCCI meeting held in Delhi on Thursday, Rahul Dravid said, “I have not signed the contract with BCCI yet, but the tenure has been discussed. Once I get the papers, we will see.”
Dravid’s contract till ICC World Cup 2023
The contract of Rahul Dravid and support staff with BCCI was only till the ODI World Cup 2023. After this BCCI has decided to extend this contract. Currently, NCA chief VVS Laxman was made the coach of the Indian team captained by Suryakumar Yadav in the ongoing T20 series against Australia.
As soon as Dravid signs the contract, he will return to his post. There is every possibility of this from the upcoming South Africa series.
