Rain can become a villain for RCB in today’s mega clash between RCB vs CSK!

Indian Premier League (IPL) season 17 is standing on the threshold of playoffs. Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have qualified. At the same time, the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore to be held on May 18 is a knockout match. If Chennai Super Kings wins this match then it will qualify for the playoffs. On the other hand, RCB not only has to win this match but also has to improve its net run rate.

The match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be played on 18 May 2024 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Bengaluru on Saturday. The IMD has issued an “orange alert” from May 18-20. It has been raining in parts of Bangalore for the past two days. But this alert has advised the citizens to take necessary precautions before travelling outside and be cautious about the heavy rainfall. In this situation it is a very dire situation for today’s IPL match. The nation has been waiting for this match since it is the knockout match.

If the match cannot be played due to rain then both the teams will get one point each. In such a situation, Chennai Super Kings will reach the playoffs with 15 points. Whereas, RCB will have only 13 points. Rain can become a villain for RCB.

Currently Chennai Super Kings has 13 points and the net run rate is 0.528. On the other hand, RCB has 12 points and its net run rate is 0.387.
