The RCB camp might have heaved a sigh of relief after star batsman Virat Kohli’s half-century while chasing the target of 177 runs against Punjab.Good innings are expected from captain Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Rajat Patidar. Dinesh Karthik’s experience and ‘impact player’ Mahipal Lomror’s useful innings came in handy in the last moments against Punjab.

Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph gave 38 runs in the first match and did not get any wicket while in the second match he took one wicket for 43 runs. In bowling, Nadeem took one wicket for 19 runs but expensively bought Mitchell Starc and Varun Chakraborty could not impress.
