Royal Challengers Bangalore is going to face Punjab Kings in the sixth match of IPL 2024. This match will be played on March 25 at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB had lost its first match at the hands of Chennai Super Kings. Whereas Punjab Kings has started the season with a win. They defeated Delhi Capitals in the first match.
Changes can be seen in RCB after the defeat against Chennai Super Kings. Mohammed Siraj, Alzarri Joseph, and Yash Dayal made full use of their quota of bowling two bouncers in an over against CSK but during this, they lost control of their line and length. Alzarri Joseph gave 38 runs in just 3.4 overs in his very first match for RCB. Now Lockie Ferguson and Rhys Topley can get a place in their place. Ferguson’s pace can be useful to RCB on Chinnaswamy’s pitch.
Probable playing eleven of RCB:
Faf du Plessis (captain), Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Dinesh Karthik, Anuj Rawat (wicketkeeper), Karn Sharma, Lockie Ferguson, Mayank Dagar, Mohammed Siraj.
Probable playing XI of Punjab Kings: Shikhar Dhawan (captain), Jonny Bairstow, Sam Curran, Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Prabhsimran Singh, Harpreet Brar, Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar, Arshdeep Singh.
