Before that, former Indian legend Ambati Rayudu has announced his favorite players for the T20 World Cup who should get a place in the team. Rayudu has selected 15 players who have high chances of being selected in Team India. Rayudu has announced a 15-member team for the T20 World Cup 2024 on Star Sports.

There is no place for Pandya, Gill or Iyer in the team!

In the team selected by himself, Rayudu has surprisingly given place to 38 year old Dinesh Karthik (Dinesh Karthik vs Rishabh Pant) as wicketkeeper batsman and not to Rishabh Pant or KL Rahul. Actually, Karthik is batting brilliantly as a finisher in IPL 2024. This is the reason why Rayudu has supported Karthik’s selection in the team for the T-20 World Cup.

Apart from this, Ambati Rayudu has also not included Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill in the team. Rayudu has chosen Rohit and Shubman Gill as openers, while Rayudu’s choice at number 3 is Virat Kohli. After this he has given place to Suryakumar Yadav. Rayudu has kept Riyan Parag in his team. Ryan is doing wonders in a different way with his batting in this IPL. In this IPL, Riyan Parag has scored a total of 318 runs in 8 matches so far.A different kind of stagnation is also visible in Parag’s batting. Ryan has shown with his batting what a big contribution he can make to the team.
