The BCCI announced the Indian Cricket Team for the World Cup 2023 on Tuesday. After the announcement of the team, when a journalist questioned captain Rohit Sharma, he got angry and replied in strong words. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, who recently returned from a long injury lay-off, have been included in the 15-man squad for the World Cup.
BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar announced the team along with Indian captain Rohit Sharma. There came a time during the press conference when Rohit lost his temper. When he was asked a question by the journalist that whenever India performs poorly against Pakistan, the atmosphere outside gets spoiled. Responding to this question, Rohit said, “Don’t ask me such questions when we do press conferences in India. We don’t want to pay attention to outside noise. I have already said many times that we do not pay attention to those things and I will not answer those questions.”
