The ICC ODI World Cup will start on 5th October 2023 in India. Indian captain Rohit Sharma is participating in the Captain’s Day to be held on October 4 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Recently he revealed that he is completely staying away from social media due to World Cup preparations. He said that his wife Ritika is using his social media handles and she is doing the promotional posts.
Rohit told The Indian Express in an interview, “You can see my phone, I don’t have Twitter or Instagram on my phone for the last nine months. If I have to post any commercial, my wife handles it. These are distracting things. Everyone is on the phone the whole day, wasting time and energy. So I decided not to keep them on my phone. Because, if it is installed then I will use it.”
Indian captain Rohit Sharma is not very active on social media. Apart from this, he has often been seen in a funny manner on the field. Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has also talked about his habit of forgetting and forgetting his iPad and passport.
On the other hand, if we talk about Rohit Sharma’s game on the field, these days he has returned to his form. The captain played brilliant innings in the Asia Cup matches and scored half-centuries. In the World Cup 2019, Rohit scored a maximum of 648 runs while scoring five centuries.
