Sachin Tendulkar to be honoured with lifetime achievement award by bcci on february 1!

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to honor former Indian cricket team batsman Sachin Tendulkar with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Indian board will present this award to the Master Blaster at its annual ceremony on Saturday, February 1. Tendulkar, who has played 664 international matches, holds the record for the most runs in both Tests and ODIs in cricket history. A source from the board confirmed, “Yes, he will be awarded the C K Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award for the year 2024.”

Sachin Tendulkar has the highest number of 200 Test matches and 463 ODI matches in cricket history by any player. He has scored 18,426 runs in ODIs and 15,921 runs in Test matches. He played only one T20 international in his illustrious career. Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri and former legendary wicketkeeper Farokh Engineer have also received this award.

Lala Amarnath, Syed Mushtaq Ali, Vijay Hazare, KN Prabhu, Hemu Adhikari, Subhash Gupte, MAK Pataudi, BB Nimbalkar, Chandu Borde, Bishan Singh Bedi, S Venkataraghavan, EAS Prasanna, BS Chadrasekhar, Mohinder Amarnath, Salim Durani, Ajit Wadekar, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Dilip Vengsarkar, Syed Kirmani, Rajinder Goel, Padmakar Shivalkar, K Srikkanth and Farookh Engineer are the other CK Nayudu award winners in history.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is set to get the best association in domestic cricket award. Notably, Mumbai won the Ranji Trophy last season for the record-extending 42nd time.
