After Shoaib Malik announced his marriage to Sana Javed, a family member of former Indian tennis player and Shoaib’s first wife Sania MSania Mirzairza revealed that the tennis star had been granted a unilateral divorce by her husband.
Shoaib Malik shared pictures with Sana Javed on social media on Saturday and captioned it, “And we made you in pairs.” Mirza’s family wrote in a statement that it has been a few months since the star got divorced and it was a one-sided divorce.
There was speculation about differences between Shoaib and Sania, with reports suggesting that their relationship had ended, although there was no official confirmation. Malik had avoided questions related to Sania in a Pakistani TV show last year and had recently unfollowed her on Instagram.
Shoaib and Sania got married in Hyderabad in April 2010 while living in Dubai. In October 2018, the couple had a son, Ihzaan Mirza Malik, who lives with Sania.
