On Friday, when the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced a reserve day for the India vs Pakistan match in the Super-4 of the Asia Cup 2023, this decision was widely criticized in the circles of cricket. Actually, apart from the India vs Pakistan match, no reserve day has been kept for any other match of Super-4. In such a situation, it was said that the teams of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka present in Super-4 would be very angry with this. But now for the first time, the reaction of the cricket boards of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on this decision of ACC has come to light. Both the boards say that ACC has taken this decision with the consent of all the teams present in Super-4.
Sri Lanka Cricket Board tweeted, “The reserve day for the India-Pakistan competition of the Super 11 Asia Cup Super 4 stage was taken in consultation with the boards of all the four teams present in the Super 4.” Therefore, ACC made changes in the playing conditions after everyone’s approval.

Team India has to play the first match of Super-4 against Pakistan on 10th September. This match will be played in Colombo and there is a 90 percent chance of rain on this day.
