Sri Lanka Clinches Series Against India After 27 Years with 110-Run Victory in 3rd Match

Sri Lanka defeated India by 110 runs in the third ODI. With this win, Sri Lanka won the three-match ODI series 2-0. For the first time since 1997, Sri Lanka has won the ODI series against India. Batting first at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka scored 248 runs in 50 overs for the loss of seven wickets in the third ODI against India, in response to which the Indian team could only score 138 runs in 26.1 overs. The Indian team, which came out to chase the target of 249 runs, got the first setback in the fifth over.

Shubman Gill was dismissed after scoring 6 runs in 14 balls. Captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed after scoring 35 runs in 20 balls. Rishabh Pant returned to the pavilion after scoring 6, Virat Kohli 20, and Axar Patel 2 runs. Shreyas was dismissed after scoring 8, Riyan Parag 15, and Shivam 9 runs.
