Team India’s T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav injured ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh. Playing for Bombay, Yadav got injured during a match against the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association in Duleep Trophy 2024. Suryakumar played only 38 balls in this match and after that, he had to return to the pavilion.
There is no official information about the severity of the injury yet, but if Suryakumar is not fit for the upcoming India-Bangladesh T20 series, then some possible options are emerging for the leadership of the team.
