The ICC World Cup is going to start on the 5th October. The tournament will begin with a match between defending champions England and New Zealand. A grand opening ceremony will also be organized a day before the match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. All preparations have also been completed for the ceremony, which will also include a spectacular laser show. Also, Bollywood stars will grace the function.
Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh along with famous singers Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, and Asha Bhosle will grace the World Cup opening ceremony to be held on October 4. Apart from this, The day will be celebrated as Captain Day. Only those fans who have purchased tickets for the first match will be able to attend the ceremony. Fans will be able to enjoy laser shows and fireworks at the ceremony. Captains of all the teams will also participate in the program.
The stage has been prepared for the rehearsal of the artists. Ranveer Singh, who was seen in the World Cup anthem, will perform along with Bollywood actresses at the ceremony. The opening ceremony has been scheduled a day earlier. The match to be held on October 5 will start at 2 pm and the laser show and fireworks will not be possible in daylight.
Apart from the fans, top officials of ICC and BCCI will also be part of the ceremony. Apart from this, top officials of all the cricket boards will also be invited.
