Team India’s squad has been released for the T20 series against England starting January 22. India’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami is making a comeback on the team with this series.
Suryakumar Yadav will be seen taking charge of Team India once again. At the same time, Akshar Patel will be seen taking charge as the vice-captain. Team India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has not been given a place in the T20 series against England. Sanju Samson will be seen playing in the squad in his place. The biggest good news for Team India in the series is the return of Mohammed Shami.
Shami is returning to international cricket after almost 14 months. He was last seen playing for Team India in the final match of the ODI World Cup. Since then, he has been out due to injury. All the selectors and fans will be keeping an eye on Shami’s performance in this series. After this, Team India also has to play a big tournament like the Champions Trophy.
After Team India’s defeat in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, India would like to start this new year with new memories. After the 5-match T20 series against England, the Indian team will also play a 3-match ODI series against England.
