Cricket Hong Kong confirmed this on its social media on Monday, 7 October. This tournament was last played in 2017 when South Africa won. India has won this tournament for the only time in 2005. Cricket Hong Kong wrote in a post on social media, “Team announcement. Team India is gearing up to make a splash in HK6. Get ready for explosive power hitting and a shower of sixes that will thrill the audience. Expect more teams, more sixes, more excitement, and more thrill. HK6 is coming back from 1 to 3 November 2024! Don’t miss it.” The tournament will be played from 1 to 3 November at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, in which 12 teams will participate. Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024 will be the 20th edition of the tournament and is returning after a gap of seven years.

The matches will be played for three days from 8:30 am to 6 pm. Tickets have also been released for the tournament, which cost $150 on the first day, $250 on the second day, and $350 on the third day. Each ticket costs $580 for all three days.
