The first T20 match between India and South Africa will be played on the Durban ground from November 8. The Indian team studded with IPL stars is led by Suryakumar Yadav. In the press conference held before the match, Suryakumar Yadav answered all the questions openly. He has praised Rohit Sharma’s captaincy and said that he has learned a lot from him. At the same time, his big statement has also come out regarding the return of Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Ruturaj Gaikwad is out of Team India
Suryakumar Yadav said that Ruturaj Gaikwad is a great player. Wherever he plays, he is consistently performing well in all formats. Many players have been performing well before him, so I think the management has created a routine or process, so it is important to follow it. He is young and is performing well. I think, his turn will also come. His time will also come. Gaikwad was part of Team India on the Zimbabwe tour, but he has not been selected for the South Africa tour. Praised Rohit Sharma
On the series loss against New Zealand, Suryakumar Yadav said that winning and losing is an important part of the game. Everyone has worked hard. Sometimes you perform well and sometimes not. I have learned from him (Rohit) that balance is very important in life. Even if you lose after performing well, your spirit should not change. A player should have this quality. When I am on the field, I keep noticing him. What is his body language and how he is always calm? How he talks to his bowlers and how he interacts with everyone inside and outside the field. I know how he treats his players and what he wants from them. Rohit is not a captain but a leader.
Said a big thing on the return of the Test team
Suryakumar Yadav further said that the method I have adopted like him has been successful. Of course, I have also added my ‘masala’ (my thoughts) to it. But it has been comfortable. Suryakumar has played only one Test match for the Indian team so far. When asked if he hopes to return to Test cricket, he gave a precise answer saying that my Test comeback will happen when it has to happen. I participate in every domestic tournament, be it red ball or white ball.
