A video of Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli with Sachin Tendulkar recently went viral, in which he asks Sachin to sit next to him. Both the old friends met at an event organized for coach Ramakant Achrekar. Kambli’s condition looked bad in this event, too. When Kambli’s video with Tendulkar went viral, the members who won the ODI World Cup 1983 title for India came forward to help him. Kapil Dev was ready to help him financially.
Now, heart-breaking news has come to the fans. Kambli’s health has suddenly deteriorated and he has been admitted to Pragati Hospital in Thane. Currently, a team of doctors is taking care of him and all the necessary tests are being done.
He gave a strong performance for India at the beginning of his career
Vinod Kambli made his ODI debut for the Indian team in the year 1991. After this, he made his Test debut for Team India in the year 1993. Initially, he had performed well for Team India. He was the fastest batsman to score 1000 Test runs for India. He did this in 14 innings. But later, he became famous for his personal life, leaving aside his performance.
This has been Vinod Kambli’s career.
Vinod Kambli has scored a total of 1084 runs in 17 Test matches for the Indian team, which includes 4 centuries and three half-centuries. Apart from this, he has scored a total of 2477 runs in 104 ODI matches for Team India, which includes two centuries and 14 half-centuries. His performance was very poor in the 2000s and due to this, he was out of Team India. He played his last ODI match for Team India against Sri Lanka in the year 2000.
