Virat Kohli is counted among the best batsmen in the world. He has scored runs on every ground in the world. Kohli did not play in the Test series against England. In such a situation, everyone expected that he would play a great innings as soon as he returned in the first Test against Bangladesh. But the opposite of expectations happened. He could not perform well in the first Test match against Bangladesh and proved to be a flop badly. He was out after scoring 6 runs in the first innings and 17 runs in the second innings. Now there is a debate on his dismissal.
Kohli did not take a review
In the second innings of the Test match against Bangladesh, Virat Kohli was given LBW out by umpire Richard Kettleborough on the ball of Mehdi Hasan Miraz. Before returning to the pavilion, Kohli talked to Shubman Gill and decided not to take a review. Kohli proceeded to flick Mehdi Hasan’s ball from the on-side, but the ball remained low and hit the pad. On this basis, the umpire gave him out. Later when the replay was seen, the spike was visible on the ultra edge. This means that the ball first hit the bat and then the pad. The most surprising thing was that even the world’s most superstar batsman Kohli did not know that the ball hit the bat. In such a situation, if Kohli had taken a review, he would have been saved from being out.

Before returning to the pavilion, he discussed with Shubman Gill about taking a review. But the batsman who is playing the ball knows better whether the ball has hit the bat or not.
Virat Kohli is the only player to play more than 100 matches in all three formats for India. He made his Test debut for Team India in the year 2011. Since then, he has remained an important link in the Indian batting order. He has so far scored 8871 runs in 114 Test matches, which includes 29 centuries and 30 half-centuries.
