Virat Kohli Gifts Signed Bat to Shakib Al Hasan After His Final Test in Kanpur

He was given the Player of the Match award for his brilliant performance. After winning the second Test, Team India cleanly swept the series 2-0. Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has already said that he wants to end his Test career by playing against South Africa. But he has not been guaranteed security on his return to Bangladesh, as Shakib is accused of a murder there.

Shakib is accused of murder in Bangladesh which was leveled at a time when civil unrest spread in the country due to which former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to step down. Shakib was a Member of Parliament from Hasina’s party Awami League. The current government of Bangladesh is not keen on giving Shakib a farewell match and the current President of Bangladesh Cricket Board, Farooq Ahmed, says that his organization is not a security agency. In such a situation, the Kanpur Test could be Shakib’s 71st and last Test match.
