Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has recently clarified the uproar on social media when his official Instagram profile was seen ‘liking’ the post on a fan page of actress Avneet Kaur.

Amidst the controversy, Virat Kohli clarified through an Instagram story and called it a mistake of the algorithm. He wrote, “I want to make it clear that when I was clearing my feed, this interaction must have happened by mistake due to the algorithm. There was no intention behind it. I request everyone not to speculate unnecessarily on this. Thank you for your understanding.”

The day this matter came to light was Anushka’s birthday. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are married. Both got married in Italy in 2017. Both have a daughter, Vamik, and a son, Akay.
