Apart from this, regarding the ongoing speculations about the future of Virat Kohli, Tendulkar commented that there is still a lot of cricket and runs left in Virat’s illustrious career.

“I am very happy that he was able to do that,” Sachin said in a video by ESPN Cricinfo. I am sure his journey has not stopped. There’s a lot of cricket left in him, a lot of runs left in him. A lot of hunger and desire to achieve more is still left for the country. I am happy that the record remains with India. I have always said that the record belongs to India and it will remain with India.”
