
The West Bengal government invited the agitating doctors for talks to end the impasse in the RG tax case. Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee spoke to doctors at her residence. A group of junior doctors discussed many issues with the CM at his residence. After the meeting that lasted for about two hours, CM Mamata Banerjee issued her statement. Mamta Banerjee said that we have listened to the doctors. 99 percent of their demands have been accepted. Mamta Banerjee said that there will be big changes after the hearing in the Supreme Court tomorrow.

In the press conference after the meeting with junior doctors, the Chief Minister said, ‘ the government has accepted 99 percent of the demands of the doctors. We will consider the remaining demands. He said that the junior doctor was demanding the removal of three people. Two of these people have already been removed…’
Mamata Banerjee appeals to doctors to return to work
Along with this, Mamata Banerjee said that the government requested the agitating doctors to return to work. Three out of five demands of the agitating doctors have been accepted. No punitive action will be taken against the protesting doctors. The CM also said that a committee headed by the Chief Secretary will look into the demands of the agitating junior doctors.
