Akshay Shinde, accused of sexually assaulting innocent girls in a school in Badlapur, Maharashtra, died on Monday. Akshay snatched the weapon from the police vehicle and opened fire, injuring a policeman. After this the police retaliated, in which Akshay was shot. He was admitted to the hospital, where he died. Apart from sexual exploitation in school, two other cases were also registered against Akshay. The police got his custody from the court. When this accident happened, the police were taking him back into custody. But on the way he snatched the policeman’s weapon and started firing.
There was an allegation of sexual harassment of girls
Akshay Shinde was accused of sexually exploiting two innocent nursery school students. After his arrest, Akshay’s wife had filed a case against him. In this case it was revealed that 26 year old Akshay had three marriages. When no action was taken in this matter, people demonstrated against him in Badlapur, Thane. After this the government came into action and the investigation of the case was handed over to the SIT. Bombay High Court is also hearing the case by taking suo motu cognizance. The state government has appointed Ujjwal Nikam to give strict punishment to Akshay, who has committed terrorism.
Confessed his crime to the doctor
During the medical examination, Akshay Shinde had confessed his crime in front of the doctor. This has also been mentioned in the chart sheet filed by the police. The case of sexual harassment of two school girls came to light in August. After this the SIT had completed its investigation.
