BIG BREAKING: Delhi Schools on Alert After Fresh Bomb Threats Cause Panic!

Many big schools in Delhi have received threats of bomb blasts. Many famous schools including DPS RK Puram, Blue Bells, and Tagore International School have been threatened through email. Along with targeting schools, exams are also mentioned in the email. It is written in the threatening email, ‘A huge amount of explosives have been planted. The entire schedule of the exam is known and work will be done accordingly. When everyone is busy with other work, then the blast will happen.

Security officials immediately sent teams to the spot, including a dog squad and a bomb disposal squad. A police officer said that no suspicious object was found. Several teams have been formed to identify the sender of the email. The school administration told the police that the schools had received bomb threats through mail. After an investigation, the police declared both threats a hoax.

Lady Shri Ram College also received a bomb threat email.

Two educational institutions including Lady Shri Ram College received bomb threat emails on Wednesday. Delhi Fire Service (DFS) gave this information. A DFS official said, “We received two separate bomb threat calls from Lady Shri Ram College at 11.40 am. Apart from this, a bomb threat call was received from Tagore International School in East of Kailash at 11.17 am.” He said that teams were immediately sent to the spot, but nothing suspicious was found. A police official said that a dog squad and bomb squad have also been sent to the spot.

Threats were coming continuously even three months ago

Since October-November 2024, bomb threats have been continuously coming into Delhi schools. Seven such incidents were recorded in 12 days in December. On 9 December, 44 schools received similar threatening emails, which caused a stir. Children had reached school early in the morning for classes. When the school management learned about the bomb threat, they informed the parents, and the children were sent home. This sequence is continuing.
