Delhi Coaching Incident: Protests Lead to Bulldozer Action at RAU’s IAS Coaching, 7 Arrested

Three students died due to waterlogging in the basement of a coaching institute in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. According to the information, bulldozers are running at RAU’s IAS coaching, where the incident took place. The police have permitted this. Five more people have been arrested in the case. In total, seven people have been arrested so far.

Security has been increased in the area amid protests by civil service aspirants over the death of students. Meanwhile, political statements are coming regarding the matter. On the one hand, the BJP is attacking the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Delhi. On the other hand, other political parties are advising not to do politics in this.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, while reacting to the incident, said that this was a very sad incident. There should be no allegations and counter-allegations on this. They should think about why this incident happened. If any representative of the government talks to the protesting students, we will welcome it, but till now no one from the government has gone for talks. PM Modi is worried about the world…he did not go to Manipur and did not meet the protesting students.

A senior police officer of Delhi Police said that we have deployed paramilitary forces and police to maintain law and order in the area. Students also protested on a large scale on Sunday. They obstructed both the routes of Pusa Road near Karol Bagh Metro Station.

A police officer said that we request everyone to maintain law and order. Pusa Road is an important road. Many hospitals are located around it. We have put up barricades in the area. We appeal to the protesting students to maintain peace. The additional force has been deployed. It is being ensured that no one faces any trouble due to the protest.
