Elvish Yadav Finds Himself Trapped Among Snakes and Snake Venom

Nine snakes, including five cobras, and snake venom were recovered during the raids in Noida, According to reliable sources. The snake venom was consumed by people attending the rave parties that also hosted foreign nationals, it’s alleged. Five men have been arrested in this matter. But they told police that Elvish Yadav used the snakes to shoot videos for YouTube and Instagram.

Elvis Yadav, the Bigboss 16 winner, is now tied up with snakes!

Elvish Yadav has been in the limelight ever since he won the trophy of Bigg Boss OTT 2. Elvish’s love for luxurious cars is real and the YouTuber doesn’t own just one but several luxurious cars. He owns a Porsche worth Rs 1.41 crore, a Fortuner worth Rs 42 lakh, an Audi worth Rs 1 crore, a Mercedes G Wagon worth Rs 2.22 crore, and more. But now it seems that he prefers the company of poisonous snakes more than his fancy car.

Noida police raided a rave party last Thursday, where they found venomous snakes and venoms. 5 people, identified as Rahul, Narayan, Titunath, Ravinath, and Jaikaran – all residents of Moharband village in southeast Delhi’s Badarpur, were arrested.  During the investigation, Elvish Yadav’s name came out! The Noida Police have allegedly booked Elvish Yadav in connection with a rave party in Sector 49. An FIR in this case was later registered which reportedly also includes Elvish Yadav’s name. Complainant Gaurav Gupta of People for Animals (PFA), run by BJP parliamentarian Maneka Gandhi, has claimed that Elvish Yadav used to host parties and shoot videos with live snakes and snake venom.

Divisional Forest Officer Pramod Kumar Srivastava said five cobras, two sand boas, one python, and one rat snake, all falling in the category of endangered species were rescued during the action.

“The charges framed in the case under the Wildlife (Protection) Act are stringent and non-bailable and can attract a jail term of seven years. The snake venom seized from the accused has been sent for a lab test to ascertain its quality,” the police said.

Is snake venom a Drug?!

According to officials in the Narcotics Control Bureau, most of the snake venom that is used in rave parties is cobra venom. Cobras are easily found and smugglers mostly get their supply from them. A powder is made from the venom and it is then consumed by mixing it with drinks. The price of snakebite powder can range anywhere between Rs 20,000-25,000. Narcotics has estimated that half a liter of snake venom is sold for at least lakhs of rupees in the international market! After consuming, snake venom’s effect can last from hours to days depending on the strength and quantity of the drug taken.
