1. The Higher Education Department of Manipur has ordered all government and private colleges to remain closed on 11th and 12th September. This decision has been taken due to the ongoing protests across the state.

2. The situation is such that miscreants have even attacked with drones and rockets at many places in Manipur. Meanwhile, the state police have deployed anti-drone systems. Apart from this, they are also being purchased on a large scale because the government does not have them in sufficient quantity.

3. Last week, violence broke out once again in the Jiribam district of Manipur. Due to this, 6 people died. According to the information received so far, suspected Kuki miscreants attacked the Meitei community-dominated village of Nungchappi. This village is 229 km from Imphal. After this, the violence broke out.

4. Jiribam is the district from where the hope of peace was raised. The leaders of the Meitei and Kuki communities were seated here. The commanders of the security forces were also present with them.
